Velma was a member of the Beech Mennonite Church were she had been > an > active leader of both the Sunday School and Bible School programs. She > attended Goshen College and was retired from the Louisville School System > after 30 years of teaching elementary school. Velma is survived by her > husband of 68 years, Arthur D. Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and > Donald Sommers of Dalton, OH; two sons and daughters-in- law, Frederic > Alan > and Judy Miller of Harrison, VA, Dr. John K. and Lisa Miller of Wooster; > sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Glen Yoder of Waverly, OH; brother, > David Johns of Goshen, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Michael, Melanie, > Gretchen, Jessica, Bethany, Rachel, Megan, Sara and Miranda; nine great > grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Johns > and Gladys Krabill. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, March 16 > at > the Beech Mennonite Church, Louisville, OH.
