Hi Cheryl, Would there by chance be any listings of the surname TERRY? My ggg-grandfather Carman L. Terry moved to Stark County, OH in the late 1840's with his brothers Thomas Terry and wife Adelia Shurts and John Terry and his wife Harriet Runyon from Westfield, Essex County, New Jersey. Carman married Sarah Elizabeth Shurts (yes, Adelia's sister) in Canton on 31 December 1849. John and Harriet Terry moved to Massillon by the 1860's. Thomas and Adelia Terry moved to Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana and Carman and Sarah Terry moved to Holmesville, Holmes County, Ohio. Approximately ten years ago I came across a book in the Dallas Public Library which was a history of some sort, either on Stark County or the City of Canton, which made mention of the "Terry Brothers Bakery" in Canton, Ohio. All three are listed in the Stark County, Ohio 1850 Census with an occupation of "BAKER". Would you be able to direct me to this book so that I may list it with the correct detail as a source record and help me rectify my neglect ten years ago? Thank you for your time and consideration in this request. Best wishes, Dan Terry - dsterry@home.com CherylQ@aol.com wrote: > Closet cleaning has yielded a book entitled the Massillonian 1916, it seems > as though this is the very first volume of the Massillon High School year > book.
