I am searching for the eleven children of Daniel BAIR. Daniel was born in Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland Co., PA, Nov. 8, 1794, and died about September 1835, in Paris Twp., Stark Co., OH. Daniel was the youngest son of Rudolph BAIR and Maria Barbara YERIAN BAIR. Daniel married Mary THOMA, April 1, 1816, in Stark Co., OH, and married Catherine FREYFOGLE, July 11, 1826, in Stark Co., OH. The eleven children are (possibly): Barbara BAIR, born Dec. 31, 1816, married Daniel BOSSERMAN; George BAIR, born 1817-1820; Elizabeth BAIR; Rebecca BAIR (Possibly born 1830 and known later as Rebecca NEWMAN or NUMAN); Rachel BAIR (John NEWMAN or NUMAN, Guardian); Amanda BAIR (John NEWMAN or NUMAN, Guardian); Abbalona (Abbie, Abigail, Appolonia) BAIR, born Sept. 29, 1829, married John Franklin BAIR, (John NEWMAN or NUMAN, Guardian); David BAIR (John NEWMAN or NUMAN, Guardian); William BAIR, born Jun 22, 1833, married Mary Ann UNKEFER, (Henry BAIR, Guardian); Eliza Ann BAIR (Zedekiah Welker, Guardian); Catherine BAIR (Zaddock Deppen, Guardian). Some documents show the names of the children as BAER, not BAIR. Daniel’s widow, Catherine, married John NEWMAN or NUMAN about 1838 and they lived in Osnaburg Twp., Stark Co., OH, until their deaths.
