On 17 Sept 1870, Hannah Catherine (Kate) RICKARD, married Joseph L. WRIGHT in Stark Co, OH. When I found this I looked for a divorce record or a death record for him, but didn't find any. I knew that her surname when she died in 1934, was LEWIS. Anyway, I didn't find a divorce nor a death for him. In Michigan on 10 Oct 1874, she married Myron E. HISLOP. She said she had been married once before, but it didn't say whether she was divorced or a widow. Hannah Catherine and Joseph WRIGHT had at least one child, a boy also named Joseph. He was born circa 1870-71. When he died in August of 1880 his age is given as 10. In the child's death record it says his father is deceased. Is there anyone on this list who knows anything at all about a Joseph L. WRIGHT, who was old enought to marry in 1870? Kate married 3 times in Michigan. Every time she was married as Hannah or Catherine WRIGHT and she said she had been married once before...every time. It seems Mr. Wright was Mr. Right as she always went back to his name.
