Hi Bob, My gg Grandmother was Emma Wahl Wallace b 2-14-1840 m. on 12-16-1868 in Ohio, to Isaac Conard b. 8-10-1845 Chester Co., Pa. Her f. Dr. Perkins Wallace b. 7-18-1808 in Burton, near the site of the present city of Cleveland, Oh. m Rebecca Raynolds they were married 7-20-1834 at the Raynolds homestead on S. Market St. Canton. His father was George Wallace b. 3-6-1776, Acworth, Sullivan Co. NH m to Harriet Menough on 6-29-1802 in Youngtown, Oh. She was b. 2-15-1784 in Elkton, Cecil Co. Md. Emma's brother was George H. Wallace, secretary of NM. Rebecca Raynolds' brother was Gen. William Franklin Raynolds, he was in charge of the exploration of Yellowstone and Missouri rivers in 1859-61. I was at a complete dead end with Emma, until I took a trip out to Canton, Ohio, where at last I found her father. I had her will for years but nothing else. She had died in West Grove, Chester co., Pa. Around 18 years after Emma died Isaac married Louisa Jane Russell, from Massillon, Oh. I am now trying to expand the Wallace family tree........any connections??
