Earlier in the month a Trumbull Co., OH subscriber named Beth asked me if our HECKATHORNs and HORNs were from Washington Co., PA I think I answered her privately and said they were originally from Washington Co., PA. She didn't say if she was researching these families, but if she is, would she please get in touch with me? A Heckathorn descendant contacted me after I posted on the Stark Co. OH list to say that I was only the 2nd Heckathorn researcher she's met in twenty years. She is anxious to get in touch with Heckathorn researchers and is considering starting a rootsweb list of that name. If anyone else on this list is searching Heckathorn, please contact me.
