    1. [OHSTARK] Naturalization papers
    2. A while back I had a email posted about finding naturalization papers for a Peter Croft (Kroft) who resided in Washington Twp, Stark County, Ohio. He should have completed his papers before 1870 because on the 1870 census it states he is a citizen..They papers were originally started in St. Joseph County, Indiana. I have a copy of the "First papers". In Indiana they do not show that he completed the paperwork and around 1863 he moved to Ohio. The papers were started in 1860 in Indiana. So, I believe that he finished them in Ohio, but where. I have checked (called) Stark County Court and they do not have them; checked with Historical society and they do not have records during that time period. Is there anywhere else that I can check...Any help would be appreciated. Jacque Wallingford Rmomba@aol.com
