Hello, I thought I'd just put my line in the water again to see if anyone out there is researching the families of Jonathan PALMER or Rebecca TRUMP, during the first half of the 1800s? Looks like Jonathan PALMER's parents were probably Joseph PALMER and Catherine KNODLE, married in 1809 in Washington County, Maryland. They seem to have come to Stark County by about 1820, I think. Rebecca TRUMP's parents are John Peter TRUMP and Barbara / Rebecca DIERDORF, it seems. I have found records of her parents and siblings dating from 1829 in Zion Lutheran Church in North Canton. Jonathan PALMER and Rebecca TRUMP were married in 1834 in Stark County. Also-- I'm not very familiar with the townships of Stark County. Is Plain Twp. near North Canton? Are they actually the same township? How about Jackson Twp.? Best regards, Kathy
