Thank you Sharleen Nex-Tech Experiences Domain Name Hijacking On Friday April 14th Nex-Tech was one of several ISP's throughout the country having their domain names hijacked. Our domain name ruraltel.net was one of those hijacked. The problems that it has caused are very simple but also very painful to our service. As of this morning 90% of the Internet no longer knows where ruraltel.net actually is. Most e-mail being sent to the ruraltel.net domain is now being rejected by other servers due to this hijacking. Nex-Tech staff members have been working on resolving this issue and we are now very close to a solution. Once this domain name is pointing to the Nex-Tech network it may take a few days to propagate through the Internet again. Nex-Tech Internet is very sorry for this inconvenience and we are taking measures to assure that it doesn't happen in the future. Please keep an eye on this website for further updates.
