My grandfather's obit appeared in the Canton Repository, Monday, 15 Nov 1965, pg 21: WILSON, Wallace G., 57, of 1416 4th N.E. died in Aultman Hospital Sunday evening after a short illness. Born in Coshocton County. Was a lathe operator of the Timken Roller Bearing Co. Gambrinus Division for 37 years. Member of the Canton Temple of the Church of God. Survived by wife Mary, one son Fred of the home, three daughters Mrs. Patricia Wing of Goshen, Indiana, Mrs. Jean Uplinger (my mom) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Mrs. Judith Ott of Canton. Her (meant his) two brothers Frank of Canton and Everett of Minerva, two sisters, Mrs. Edith Forney and Mrs. Roma Diewert both of Canton, his mother Mrs. Servilla Wilson of Navarre, 6 grandchildren. Has lived in Canton 50 years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday att he Welch's Funeral Home 1 pm with teh Rev. Raymond Crowley officiating. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours in the parlors Tuesday 2:30 to 4:30 pm and 7-9 pm. (Welch, 452-4041).
