For elementary school (about 1909-1917) my grandmother attended the school at Midway (the intersection of Smith-Kramer Road and Kent which may have been called Market Avenue back then). The intersection was called Midway. I understand the building is now a Mennonite Church. It is on Smith-Kramer, just west of Kent, and sits on the North side of the Street. Anyone out there have any information or old photos or references to Midway School? I have a couple class photos, but the school is not visible, as they were taken outside by some trees.
