Looking for info on Jacob SNYDER abt. bef. 1850. A friend of mine in VA has the Carter museum and she has a quilt that has embroidered on it " JACOB SNYDER 1849 STARK COUNTY OHIO". She was told he made the quilt, but I wonder if someone made it in his memory as I did locate a Jacob SNYDER that died in 1849. Does this ring any bells with anyone?
