What's in a name? Whoa, I would start with EVERY Pheonick spelling I could think of... in fact.. I will bet that this spelling is NOT the orginal at all. What county did this person come from ? Join that list, check out the archives of the list and ask NAME game questions. Any other states that they might have migrated from or to ? When you check census go to the Soundex code.. for BEL and look at ALL the names... Just some ideas.... sometimes we are stuck with a NAME and we stick with that spelling...
