He was my great-great grandfather. His son, Harry, was born in Canton in 1871 and his grandson, Earl, in 1892. The Wielandts moved to Chicago and changed their name to Wieland around WWI. I am looking for -any- information about the Wielandts of Stark County, who may have come from Wurtemberg, Germany, by way of Baltimore. There is a Joh. Wielandt listed aboard the "Johannes" from Bremen in 1834.
