Hi! We live about 3 hours away from Stark County and I was wondering if anyone on the list might live near the Massillon City Cemetery. I am trying to connect my Austin line and everything fits except the date of death for Theodora Austin. According to Stark county Cemetery Inscription Book Vol. 6, page 272 - Theodora (written in the book as Theodore) Austin died June 16, 1862. I am hoping this might be 1832. I don't know how else to check this date without seeing the headstone. The headstone is in Section 24 (North to South) face East and about 1/3 of the way down the list of stones. She is among the Knapp's and McLain's. Would it be possible for someone to check this for me or does anyone know of someone who does this kind of research for a fee? There is mention of cemetery records, but I don't know where I would find these records. I would appreciate any information that might clear up this date. Thank you so much!
