Donna, Lena Reichard was born in October 1865 so she was not quite 21 at her April 1886 wedding. Her father died before she was born and her mother died in 1884. In 1880 she was living with her mother and siblings with another family in Mahoning County. I have no knowledge of her mother marrying again but it's possible. I was just wondering if this was the normal practice when one acquired a marriage license. Perhaps the groom was out of town? He was a Pittsburgh native and the couple lived in Pittsburgh the rest of their lives. Kathy
