    1. Re: [OHSTARK] RE: Marriage License Question
    2. Dear Shirley: Thank you so much for your reply. I looked my Brenner ancestors up on the Probabate website you emailed me and found all my names I am looking for. I will contact the Stark County Library as you suggested and get copies. Thank you again for your helpfulness. Dianna -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, 21 Dec 2005 12:57:20 EST Subject: Re: [OHSTARK] RE: Marriage License Question I temporarily have three publications covering Stark County Marriages published by The Alliance Genealogical Society. They cover 1809 - 1870. Another source would be Stark County Probate website: http://www.probate.co.stark.oh.us/search/search.html Just enter the surname and hit search. This brings up marriages, wills, administration filings, and even insanity filings. The Stark County District Library has microfilmed copies of marriages from 1809 to 1986 with index to same 1809-1972. Check the library's genealogical department's website: http://www.starklibrary.org/genealogyservices.html You will find their staff very helpful. Please bear in mind marriages prior to about 1900 had very little information. Typically just the bride and groom's names but still a great item to have. If you need a look-up in the three volumes I have, please reply.
