Is anyone familiar with the Taft House or Taft Hotel or does anyone have ideas on how I can find information on this hotel? It was located in Canton back in 1945 at 616 - 4th St., N.W. My brother says there may have been a house there which took in roomers/boarders but not a hotel. I recall nothing but private homes in that area. The building had 23 rental rooms not including 8 other rooms and storage rooms. It had a basement, first floor, second floor and mezanine.
