Hello, Anyone researching any Stokey family that lived in Canton? I have an Earl P. Stokey born 1893 and died July 1980 in Canton, I am trying to find out about his daughter Lois V. Stokey and to see if she married anyone in Canton or what. If any of you researchers that are researching the surname Stokey, I would appreciate any help, also I don't have the ancestors of Earl. I am distantly related to these people. jamie

Have you tried contacting the Stark County PUblic Library and ask for his obit from 1980. You should be able to get information from there to start.
