My Mother's German ancestors. The SCHADE family changed the spelling to-SHADE,During my great-grandfather's life. My Mother's maiden name was Mary Louise SHADE,born in Canton,May11,1923. GRUBER,was her Mother's maiden name. To the best of my knowledge--theSCHADE'S came fromHessen-Kassel,GE. The GRUBERS were from Bavaria.
