I know of 2 CHRONINGER brothers, born in Northumberland Co, PA, who lived with their families in Sugar Creek Twp., Stark County, at around the right time to be connected with Martha: Henry CHRONINGER (born 1788?), who married Sarah ("Sally") BOSE (b. 13 Aug. 1800, prob. in Emmitsburg, Md.) in Stark County on 20 JUNE 1816; they later lived in Tuscarawas County, but I don't know their place of death. They may have moved farther west around 1850; 2 of their sons apparently died in Henry Co, Ohio. This family is a good candidate, since one source mentions a daughter named Martha born "about 1823") Henry's brother Benjamin (born 20 April 1794), apparently married to Sarah KEENE, also lived for much of his adult life in Stark County, but died in Marion, Indiana on 6 March 1876.
