There seems to be a very strong possibility of a connection between these families. They both lived in the same area in the same time period. As mentioned in my first post, the 1880 Marlboro Twp. census shows Peter born in Ohio and parents in PA. Your Christina may likely be an older sister of Peter's. She also named a son Peter, although I am finding more than one Peter Snyder in Stark Co. so it seems to have been a common name for Snyder families. The birth and death dates of our Peter L. Snyder that I posted earlier seem to be incorrect. Most likely due to a typo or a misreading of an old document. I received a land deed for a sale of property from Peter L. Snyder and wife Priscilla dated September 30, 1885. The death date we had was April 15, 1885. The property was located in NIMISHILLAN Twp. >From all that we know Peter lived in Stark Co. all of his life based on information from both marriage records and the birth records of his children. However he does not show up on the Stark Co. census for 1850,1860, 1870 but he is in Marlboro Twp. in 1880. Can't find a source for the 1890 census for Stark. If anyone has one for 1890 or can direct me to the right website, I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!
