Cathy: I keep getting it too. It is a virus. It attaches itself to outgoing mail, without the sender ever being aware they are passing it on. As long as you are not opening the attachment, you should be safe, I think. (I went to McAfee's web site & read about it.) You should update your virus software frequently, and make sure it is scheduled to run on your computer regularly, or do it manually. Here's a great website that you can check out internet hoaxes, virus', etc. Before I forward anything that is purported to be true, I check out its validity at this site. http://urbanlegends.about.com/science/urbanlegends/library/blhoax.htm?once=t rue& Barbara Treaster Researching TREASTER and ANDREWS ----- Original Message ----- From: <martin.abba@juno.com> To: <OHSTARK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 27, 2001 7:09 AM Subject: [OHSTARK] Unwanted E-mail, Virus > Good Morning, > > Is anyone having trouble with receiving the "Snowwhite" e-mail message? > A couple weeks ago someone on one my PA rootsweb lists complained of it > and folks there said it was a virus.
