Dear List, Is anyone doing research on the surnames of VERNIER and AGNES? I am looking for information on my husband's great grandparents, Theophilus James Vernier (1832-1901) and Adelaide Agnes (1832-1911). Theophilus was born in Alsace, France. His family came to Stark Co. OH. In 1850 he and Adelaide were married and moved to Scioto County, Ohio. Please let me hear from you. I will be glad to share information. Thank you, Helen F.
