Mercedes - You're welcome. The library will snail mail copies which will include an invoice. If you don't have actual full death dates, they will probably only be able to search for George's since they have index for all Ohio counties which includes 1945. Otherwise, you may have to write to the cemetery for burial dates. Using my membership to Ancestry.com which has Ohio Deaths 1958-2000, I found whom I believe to be Mabel Allen Lentz - 1884-1973. "Female" Lentz, d 24 Dec 1973 Out-of-State Aged 89, Widowed, Residence - Canton [Her age at time of death equates to born circa 1884.] I would suggest you give this full date to the library and ask them to search for obit. Please be patient with requests to the library - they get a tremendous amount of queries. For those of us who use the library, we are very fortunate. The library is one of the best in the country with an extremely knowledgeable staff who are very patient and who go the extra mile to help folks. Their collection is outstanding. Shirley, Thank you again! The staff at Stark County Library was blazingly fast. I received George's obit last night - it only took them about 4 days. I expected it to take much longer and was pleasantly surprised to receive it so soon. The obit contained a photo, but the quality was so bad I couldn't see him. I learned the names of 4 of his siblings via the obit, so it was definitely worth ordering. ; ) Yes, this is Mabel's death record. This is the one that tipped me off that she may have been visiting or living with her son in Arkansas when she died. I haven't found any further info on her yet. I'll contact the library again soon & request the obit.
