I doubt there is any more information on the marriage record but I would suggest you contact the library and ask them to check for you. If anyone can help you, it will be the library staff. The only time I've found more information on early Ohio marriages is when one of the parties was under age and a parent or guardian had to sign for them. I have NO further information on their ancestors just speculations and assumptions. Sam and Lucinda migrated to Springport, Jackson Co. MI where they had their children. There is a Jacob COOPER living next door to them and he was born in PA as Sam states on all of his census. Lucinda's life is a mystery. She was born in OH and her parents in PA as well. I found the information below on the website (Stark Probate website for marriages: http://www.probate.co.stark.oh.us/search/search.html ) and it is also published and I have a copy of the page. BUT ... Since there is a case number .. Would or Could there be ANY further details listed on the Case file? IF so, I think that I must contact the library and have them send me the info, correct? Thanks for any help that you can share. Hi Shirley, Did the library have the "extra information" or did you have to get it from the courthouse? I had an under age relative that got married, had to have her father's permission, etc... But when I requested a copy, all I received was the license that stated that her father's permission was received. This was 1907. How do you get this extra paperwork?
