    1. Re: [OHSTARK] RE: Marriage License Question
    2. Carole, Don't know how I missed this the first time around. I have been searching a couple years for the marriages of Jacob OSWALT. There is a marriage of Jacob OSWALT to Catherine WAGGONER in Stark County, OH, early 1800s I believe. But, there are records of another Jacob OSWALT b. 1765 in Bedford County, PA m. to Catherine STOVER, also b. PA. Research and information from others show that Jacob OSWALT and Catherine migrated to Montgomery County, and Massillon, Stark County, OH in the early 1800s. Jacob OSWALT and Catherine, then migrated to Darke County, Ohio where they subsequently died, he 1833, she 1835, probably in cholera epidemic. These are my gggrandparents, but I have not been able to determine which Catherine - WAGGONER or STOVER - is the Catherine who died in Darke County. Also, I have been unable to determine if Joseph b. 1765, Bedford county, was twice married to Catherines, or if these are a father and son who each married the a Catherine's. Any help you can give me on Ohio marriages of any Jacob OSWALT would be helpful. Thanks so much for your kindness. 3. I do have a Catherine Waggoner, but she married Solomon E. Wood 15 March 1838 Stark Co. Her father was Valentine. I don't have any other info. I do not have a Catherine Stover.
