Surnames: Madlem Markel Royer Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/YZB.2ACI/3072 Message Board Post: On the 1900 census Isaac is listed with his 2nd wife Hannah, his daughter Nettie, and his granddaughter Bessie M. Markell. Bessie is my grandmother and until I saw this entry I had no idea that we were related in any way to Madlem's. What I need help with is the connection from Madlem to Markel. My grandmothers father was William Henry Markel (Markle) and she married my grandfather George Washington Royer and that is all the information I have ever known about my grandmother. If anyone can help me make the connection or give me more information to get me closer I would be forever grateful.
