Ruth Bliss married John Parker Hale Chandler, born 1885 in Washington, D.C., in 1927 in DeLand, Florida, and divorced him in Tucson, AZ in 1932. She had been married once before she and Mr. Chandler were married; she had two sons who took the name Chandler after the 1927 marriage. I don't know what happened to Ruth after 1932, but do believe she was sued by a doctor's wife for alienation of affection in about 1933. Through the 1927 divorce she obtained property in both Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Daytona Beach, Florida. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There are several families living in this area in the 1840 census. My ancestor was Michael Miller, born either 1813 or 1816 and married to Mary Burghed. I am interested to learn how all of these Miller families are connected and who Michael's parents are. I have seen alot writen about an Abraham who moves from PA to Stark Co., OH but none of his children or grandchildren are named Michael. Hope there's a descendant out there somewhere!! John Okey. My father was George William Okey, Jr born 1911 in Iowa, his father was George William Okey, Sr born in Ohio. We are all decended from Thomas Okey and Elizabeth Stockley through their son Leven (levin)Okey. Thomas is as far back as we can go....at least one, maybe two generations after Col. John's death in 1662. He had one son, John b. 1642, who may have come to America (or somewhere else) and the time of his father's arrest, but that is speculation.
