I have been reseraching my families HOFFMAN - COOPER from Stark Co Ohio My main GGgrandparesnt are Lucinda Hofman-Hoffman and Samuel COOPER. they were mairred in Stark Co in Nov of 1861. their marriage is recorded in books and online. They moved to Springport, Jackson Co. MI and that is where their children were born, 1862ish. I do not know WHO their parents are. In all census they are in they say both their parents were born in PA .. In several census I find a Jacob COOPER and Jacob HOFFMAN living almost next door with their families, to my Samule and Lucinda. These other COOPERS and HOFFMANS are Older that Sam and Cinda In these census there are Others from Ohio living with them. Jesse R and Angeline MILLER and Thomas HORSHEY Their has to be a connection somewhere. Online in the Libraryt databases I find most of these people listed. Will follow up and order the docs that are associated to them. Does anyone have any of these names in their lines and if so can you list them and give details to their lives. He was b 1753, Erbach, Germ and died in Bedford Co., PA. Anna Christina was b 1756, Eibelshausen, Germ, and d 1826, Stark Co., OH. David is listed as the 8th of 9 children. It doesn't list his wife but, it does say that he d in DeKalb Co, IN. The article follows David's brother, Wilhelm's line. Wilhelm stayed in Stark Co. but I noticed just leaving through the pages that some of his descendents ended up in DeKalb Co., IN and in Michigan.
