    3. Good morning, I would like to pass on a tip that I read on another list. Many of you might be aware that the LDS church is making available on-line many many records. In order to access these records go to: www.FamilySearch.org Select the Search Records tab on top. Select Records Search Pilot Select Canada and US from the map. For this group of special interest would be Ohio Deaths 1908 to 1953. You can search by surnames, and or dates. Cheryl Gravereau Quinn

I know quite a lot about my Frederick family already, however I just joined this list and thought I would post on it a few questions that still linger and see if anyone can help. In years past I have posted on GenForum and the Frederick Family Forum and have received limited response so here's hoping. This Frederick family was from the Baltimore area and moved to Stark county around 1834. I believe the patriarch was Peter. There was a Peter Frederick in the Stark County census of 1840. Of course 1840 only showed the head of the family and males and females in certain age groups, however it is a very close match. In 1850, evidently the father had died and the mother, Mary, was listed with children George, Michael, William, Catherine, and Elizabeth. The three that I am sure of are (all born in Baltimore and died in Canton and buried in West Lawn Cemetery), Peter, b. 18 Dec 1818, d. 23 Mar 1868, George (my g-g grandfather), b. 15 Dec 1820, d. 19 Mar 1897, and Michael, b. 30 Sep 1822, d. 28 Oct 1896. In Section C where George is buried with his wife and a couple of his children at Lot 20, at Lot 64 is a Maria S Frederick. I am thinking this may be their mother (the one listed in the 1850 census as Mary and in 1860 with son Michael and family as Sabrina, and in 1870 with daughter Elizabeth Haberly again as Sabrina. Does anyone have any more information about this Maria S (possibly Sabrina) Frederick buried in Canton West Lawn in Sec C Lot 64, born about 21 Feb 1782 and died 25 Jul 1876? As I said daughter Elizabeth Frederick, born about 1817, was married I believe to a William Haberly. Daughter Catherine, born about 1828, was married I believe to John Rex. I know nothing of another son William born about 1817-1818. Any help or information you might even think of being helpful would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
