    3. Dear List Members, A while ago I posted a message to the board and gave the web address of our library. Since then several of you have contacted me asking why the address didn't work. It didn't work because I typed it in wrong. Here is the correct address, and I apologize for the mix-up. www.stark.lib.oh.us/gene.html If any of you still have trouble accessing the web site, please let me know. -- Lauren K. 1. Re: [OHSTARK] AOL is An Exception?
    2. Following is how AOL provides for adding a link in e-mail: A hyperlink is a shortcut to a location online -- a Web site, an AOL area, a chat room, a file download, or other areas. Just click on the blue, underlined text and the AOL software will whisk you right there. Hyperlinks are a good way to help a friend find the exact location or information to which you are referring them. You can create a hyperlink right in your e-mail message! This article includes two topics: A. How To Add a Hyperlink to E-mail B. How To Create a Favorite Place A. How To Add a Hyperlink to E-mail: 1. When you encounter an area online that you'd like to share with an AOL member, click the heart icon on its title bar. A dialog box with three buttons appears. 2. Click Insert in Mail. An e-mail form appears, with the link already inserted, and a subject filled in. 3. Add an explanation about the link, if you wish, and click the Send To: box to fill in your friend's screen name. 4. Click Send Now. Remember: Hyperlinks only appear in AOL version 3.0 and above. B. How To Create a Favorite Place: 1. Navigate to a site that you want to mark as a Favorite Place. 2. Click the heart icon on the title bar of the window. A dialog box with three buttons appears. 3. Click Add to Favorites. 4. Click the Favorites icon on the toolbar to see a list of your Favorite Places. John Wagoner

    1. [OHSTARK] SLAYTON late 1800s-early 1900s
    2. I don't have much to go on here. I'm looking for anyone named SLAYTON who lived in the Mansfield, Ohio area around 1920s, but may have been there since about 1860. One of the men who is a descendant is named John SLAYTON, and I believe he is living now. Sarah HANLY/HANELY GOGLEY/GOCKLEY, had a sister who married Mr. SLAYTON. I have some old family reunion photos from about 1924, and they include the GOCKLEY and UPLINGER connections. Thank you, Judy Uplinger Brannon

In the 1860s, after Solomon's death, Elizabeth lived in Alliance. They had 14 children. I have the names for 10 and know that one of the remaining 4 was a daughter.
