Friday morning, Leonard Fallot, who has been an esteemed resident of Nimishillen township for many years, answered the final call. He had been sick for the past two years, but his death was hastened by paralysis, with which he was stricken last week. His death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.J. Gaume, living on West Main Street. Mr. Fallot was born in La Commune de Feule, France, September 20, 1817. In 1840, with his parents, one sister, and two brothers, he came to America. The family located in Nimishillen township, and have lived here ever since. About fifty-five years ago, Mr. Fallot was united in marriage to Miss Louise Menegay, who died twenty-five years ago. They were the parents of nine children, three of whom survive. They are Mrs. Frank Fryfogle, of Alliance; Mrs. Louise Rebrassier and Mrs. C.J. Gaume, of Louisville, seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Since the death of his wife Mr. Fallot made his home with his children and for a number of years was a familiar figure upon the streets of Louisville. But all things cease, and he will now be numbered among the silent majority. Mr. Fallot was a devout Catholic during his lifetime and funeral services were held at St. Louis church, Monday morning, Rev. Father Senner officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. >From the Louisville Herald. Date of death 18 Nov. 1904. Submitted by Anita A. Rippel --part1_e1.6447a2a.268a788e_boundary--
