My g grandfather is James R. Taylor b. abt. 1847, married to Sarah Jane Ayling - b. 1846 d. 1931, daughter of James Ayling and Margaret Baker. I find James and Sarah Jane on the 1880 census, him 38 and her 34 with her brother John Ayling, 27, next door in Denver Twp. His son George W. Taylor was my grandfather. The story goes that James was shot and killed when George was a young boy. His mother remarried to an unknown Dimon or Diamon. I'd like to find out what happened to James and his parents names. George says he was born in Canada. There were many brothers and sisters. Can anyone help me? Many thanks in advance. Beverly

Sandy, I have just begun working on my TRUMP line and have received some information from a TRUMP researcher who has done a great deal of work on this line. I show a George W. Trump, born 25 April 1843 to George TRUMP and Ester KLINGAMAN. This couple was from Pennsylvania, but they married in 1831 in Stark County, and they died there, so I would assume their George W. was born there. I will send my TRUMP info to you privately, but if anyone else is researching this line, please do get in touch with me! I would love to trade info! I am looking for any information concerning a Thomas F BARNETT (August 8, 1848 to March 27, 1929). He first married on October 14, 1869 in Clay Twp., Tuscarawas Co., Ohio to a Julia A WHEELAND (1846-?). He and Julia had 5 and possibly 6 children and appear to have migrated from Tuscarawas County, Ohio (1868) to Stark County, Ohio (1874) and back to Tuscarawas Co., Ohio (1880). He apparently married a second time to a Mary CADNUM. Thomas F BARNETT died in the Medina County Home, Lafayette Twp., Medina Co., Ohio on March 27, 1929. I have had previous information that Thomas F BARNETT's parents were a Benjamin BARNETT and Jane RUEBOTTOM but, from RUEBOTTOM researchers, I found out that the two were married in Iowa so I am beginning to doubt that my Thomas F BARNETT was one of their children. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks very much. Dereck L. Dietz dietzdl@ameritech.net
