    1. Re: OHSTARK-D Digest V05 #165
    2. Barb, I have Emanuel Treaster marrying Dora Crockett 29, Nov. 1877. They resided in Randolph twp, Portage county OH. They are buried Marlboro twp. Stark county. They both died soon after the birth of their two children, Mary E. and John J. John married Edith ? and had 2 dtrs. Lucille and Carletta. I have never been able to establish who Emanuel's father was for certain. There was a John Treaster in neighboring Suffield twp. that was nearly the same age that may have been a brother, and several Treasters in neighboring Lake twp (Stark) county that may have been related also. 1. Re: [OHSTARK] TREASTER/Stark county - OSWALT - YOUNG also
    2. Barb - Sorry I haven't responded sooner - been overwhelmed with a case. I have been researching the Treaster line for quite a few years. My great-grandmother is Catherine Treaster b. 1816, Centre County, PA m. to David Oswalt b. 1812, place unknown. Catherine has a sib Jacob born 1810, Mifflin County, PA. But, since the Treasters often had large families and mostly followed the Celtic/German naming pattern, there are several Jacob Treasters not only in different generations, but within the same age range. My lines are OSWALT - TREASTER - YOUNG - all of which have individuals who migrated to OH - Stark, Montgomery,Darke Counties to name a few. My brick wall is in Stark County, trying to find the exact parentage of Jacob OSWALT and his wife Catherine, who eventually settled in Darke County where they died in 1833/34, leaving 9 children orphans. Do you have any other information on your Jacob? I will be more than happy to exchange information with you. Ask me about hypnotherapy or Reiki for pain relief, healing energy, spiritual emergency, past life regression

    1. Re: [OHSTARK] OHSTARK ROLL CALL - Niesz, Brenner
    2. Hi Carol: I am looking for information on Frederick Roush who was married to Anna Maria Hafleigh. They were born in Pennsylvania and then moved to Stark County Ohio. My great great grandmother was Deliah Roush married to William Niesz and they lived their entire life in Canton, Ohio. Jacob Roush was Frederick's father I believe. I know Frederick died in 1811 but I am not sure when he was born. The Bechtel line I am looking for is Abraham who was married to Barbary Brenner. Abrahams father was Emanuel. I am not sure if there are any connections or not. One of his daughters, Sarah Jane, married Joseph Austin on 3 Dec 1850. They were found as neighbors in Stark County in the 1850 census. After that I can find no mention of them anywhere. 3. I am researching the Stahl family in Navarre. Andreas Stahl immigrated to US in 1831 with his 7 children: Isreal, Gertrude, Andrew, John, Frederick, Elizabeth and Christina. Family owned much property in Navarre. There was an earlier Stahl named Christopher who fought in the Revolutionary War. He is probably a relative of Andreas. Christopher is thought to have settled in Navarre. Will be happy to share information. anna --------------------------------- Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
