Does anyone research Kern or Kerns? I'm searching for a Marcuria Kern who married John J. Houtzer. They lived in Shelby Co. 1835, but not sure if they married there. I have Kerns in our family. Jacob Kerns m.Catherine Fowler in Fairfield County and they moved to Van Wert County sometime around when her parents moved in 1854. I am not sure but it is possible that they lived in Allen Co. as other family members were in the County. Mostly around Lima.
