I have limited information, Virginia Claire Mertz born Jan 27, 1918 died ?(Sad, because this is my Grandmother) She married Lester Barga Jerome Mertz born 1916 Richard Mertz 11-08-1919 Edna Mertz 07-21-1920 married a Fahel Virgil (Bud) Mertz 11-26-1926 Thomas Mertz 9-1926 Mary Mertz Aug 31,1930 Their parents were; John Mertz and Annie Ratterman. The Ratterman family has a connection with the Ohio Buckeye card. One of them developed and fought for it. All of these children were born and grew up on a farm in Shelby county.
