The Shelby Genealogical Society has or had for sale a publication called "Shelby Co. Ohio Newspaper Items". It is described ashaving abstracts from local newspapers 1830 - 1875. Index of over 400 surnames, 30 pages, softbound. Does anyone on the Shelby list have this book and would be willing to look for selected names and dates?
