Dear Lists, For those of you who saw my list of Ohio books that I'd do lookups in, I want to let you know that I have a couple of the requests left in my TO DO folder, but it's going to be awhile before I do them or take on any more requests. A week ago I feel out our back slider door (thank God it was open!) and landed on the ground, but on the way down, I apparently landed my right knee squarely on the edge of one of the cement block steps. Again, thank God it didn't hit directly on the kneecap ( or my head, or my face, or my nose, or anything else that would have been SO much worse ), but it did split open my knee area just below the kneecap; I also cut an artery in the process; spent the rest of the day in the ER getting sewed up. It is better, but as the HUGE swelling SLOWLY starts to go away (and believe me I have every color of the rainbow), it is very painful and I don't have much tolerance for being up and not having it iced and elevated. Then, this past Tuesday, Doug had hernia surgery that turned out to be more than we'd anticipated, too. He is doing fine; just going to be longer than we'd thought. I will get around to the requests. Please hold up on them, or if you want to send them through, go ahead and I'll put them in ol' TO DO file and will get to them. Thank you for your understanding. Kathleen Manley
