    3. Lima Daily News, Jan 11, 1911 Mr. and Mrs. George THOMAS and son Alva, and Mrs. Charles SHINABERRY and daughter, Lela, were the guests of Sergeant of Police and Mrs. John R. SUTHERLAND yesterday, at their home on Oak street. Mr. and Mrs. John LEHMKUH and son of Delphos were in the city, yesterday to attend the wedding of Frank DOBNER and Miss Flora KELLER. P.M. DRIVER was in Delphos, yesterday, looking after business matters and calling on friends. Mrs. Joseph IMBER and Mrs. Frank KALT, (hard to read), of near Ottoville, were visitors in Lima, yesterday. Charles SIFERD and family have been spending the past few days in Wapakoneta, visiting at the home of the former's parents, Mr. and mrs. David SIFERD. Marshal James SHOCKEY, of Wapakoneta, was in Lima, yesterday, testifying before the Allen county grand jury, in the case against Ed SMITH. Mrs. Sarah SELLARS of Anna, is the guest of friends and relatives in this city. Mrs. A.G. MEFFERD and Mrs. J.E. EARL, of Wapakoneta, were in the city, yesterday visiting the former's sisters Mrs. Belle THOMAS and Miss Emma HASTINGS. Charles O'HARROW was in Lima, yesterday on business. H. HAUS, of Wapakoneta, came to Lima, yesterday with reference to the automobile business. He expects to purchase some of the attractive 1911 models. Boone THOMPSON of Wapakoneta, was a Lima visitor, Tuesday. Warren MELLY has returned from a business trip to Greenfield and Jamestown, Ohio. Mrs. Nellie LOWERY, a nurse of Flau Claire, Wisconsin, arrived in this city, yesterday to attend Rev. J.M. MILLS who is recovering from a severe attack of pneumonia. Mrs. Della ARMSTRONG has returned from a pleasant visit with her mother at Massilion, Ohio. Kenton couple, Walter BLACKMORE, aged 78, and his wife, aged 84, were found dead in their home last evening. A leak in a pipe filled the house with gas. They were asphyiated. Mr. and Mrs. BLANSFIELD*, though wealthy, lived alone. Both have been in poor health. The Coroner says that the man had been dead about four hours and the woman about two hours. * Both surnames given in article. Kenton, O. John WELSH, who was struck in the right eye by a piece of steel several weeks ago, will be blind as a result. When a boy, WELSH lost the sight of his left eye while at play. When he injured the other eye every possible effort was made to save the sight, but he was told yesterday that he need not expect to ever see again. Harry E. CAMPBELL, arrested here and charged with forgery and wanted in many Ohio towns, Bellefontaine among the number, was arraigned in criminal court in Columbus Monday and entered a plea of not guilty to the indictment against him. A.W. ROBERTS, of the Marion and Bellefontaine roads, was informed last night of the serious illness of his father-in-law, Janis KILBERRY, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The three children of Rev. CREMEAN, who died of scarlet fever at Huntington, Ind., were brought to Elida last week and the remains interred in Greenlawn cemetery. Mr. CREMEAN accompanied the bodies to this place. Miss Anna HILYARD is visiting friends in Indiana this week. Miss Mary VAUBLE, of Wapakoneta, was a visitor in this city, yesterday.
