Benjamin married in Fairfield Co., OH, Anna Swanders, also a native of PA and d/o Frederick Swanders. 6 children were born to Benjamin and Anna: Daniel, Reuben, Mrs. Mary Ware, Darius, Lucas F., and Joab. Anna died in 1840 and Benjamin remarried to Mrs. Sarah (Woodring) Slusser, another native of PA. Sarah died in 1879 and Benjamin remained on the old homestead until he died, June 1887.
