They located in 1806 to Fairfield County, Ohio when Benjamin was 6 years old. Benjamin married in Fairfield County, Ohio to Anna SWANDERS, also a native of Pennsylvania and daughter of Frederick SWANDERS. Six children were born to Benjamin and Anna: Daniel, Reuben, Mrs. Mary WARE, Darius, Lucas F., and Joab. Anna died in 1840 and Benjamin remarried to Mrs. Sarah (WOODRING) SLUSSER, another native of Pennsylvania. Sarah died in 1879 and Benjamin remained on the old homestead until he died, June 1887.
