    3. Lima Daily News, Feb 3, 1914 (West Cairo) Miss Marie HOLMES, of Lima, visited the schools Tuesday. Revival services are now in progress at the Christian church. Mrs. James HAMRICK, who has been visiting in Toledo for some time, came home last week. Mrs. R.H. HUGHES still continues poorly. Mrs. Mattie BELCH visited in Buckland last week. Mr. Adam LOHR was taken suddenly ill Friday evening. Mrs. Dora HARPSTER and niece, Ruah McCARTY, spent Wednesday and Thursday of last week at West Newton. The many friends and relatives of Andrew PAKER were grieved to hear of his death last Friday morning. Mr. Don LACKEY and family have moved on the old YANT farm. Mr. John SMITH, of Ft. Wayne, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jabey SMITH, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl VANCE have gone to housekeeping west of town. On Tuesday night, January 27th, a number of friends of Miss Ruth MARTZ, gathered at her home to remind her of her fifteenth birthday. The evening was spent in games, after which an oyster supper was served. Those present were: Misses Corrine EARNEST, Vera HARPSTER, Mary LAMB, Melissa LAMB, Messrs. Rollie BUSHONG, Lawrence LAMB, Wayne SOLOMON, Lawrence WALTZ, Robert L. LAWRENCE and Dwight MARTZ. Miss Alta STALTER was a Lima visitor Saturday. Misses Lulu GARNER, Alta STALTER and Bernice MILLER; Messrs. Grant WOOD and Harry MARTZ were entertained at S.F. MARTZ's Sunday.
