Miss Dora HILDRETH, of Holmes avenue and Miss Genevieve BLACK, of north McDonel street, have returned home, after an extended visit to Rushmore, O. Miss Gertrude MORAN, of Findlay, is the guest of friends in the city. Miss Anna SCHULTZ and Miss Louise SCHULTZ spent New Year's day with friends in Delphos. G.W. DARLING, of New Castle, Ohio, is the guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Hefner. Mr. John MAY, of Beaverdam, is visiting Mrs. Amos KELLER, 130 east Eureka street, and Mrs. M. LAMISON, of 742 south Elizabeth. David WOODIN, of east McKibben street, leaves for Columbus today. He was elected on the legislative board of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Mr. and Mrs. C.C. WILLIAMS have returned after a pleasant visit with friends and relatives in Defiance. Mr. Charles WEINFELD, of Warsaw, Wis., is a guest of his brother Sam, and family. Mrs, Russel HUGHES has returned to her home in Findlay, after a visit with Lima friends. Mrs. Anna FLATT and son Robert, of Toledo, visited friends and relatives Sunday. Mrs. Emma McGINNIS and son Elvie, have returned home, after a pleasant visit with J.J. MOORE and family in Van Wert. Mrs. J.M. WEAVER, of Harrison avenue, have been entertaining quite a number of friends during the holidays, among them being her brother, Rev. J.F. MILLER, and family, of Bryan, Ohio, and C.E. MILLER and wife of Ft. Wayne, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. HAMMOND and daughter, Florence, of Columbus Grove, who were the quests of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. MILLER, of east Pearl street, returned to their home Sunday evening. Mrs. F.M. CHASE, daughter Maud, and son Russell, of Troy, spent New Years day with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. BINDER. George BARRETT, who is traveling for Denman & Co., of New York, left last night for Pittsburg, after a visit with home folks. Mrs. John ROTH, of Cincinnati, is spending a few days with Mrs. John WEINFELD, of west Spring street. Mr. Fred HOFFMAN has returned from Mansfield, after a pleasant visit with friends. Miss Kate PATTON, who lived in the McHENRY family in this city for thirty-five years, died at Van Wert day before yesterday of cancer. The funeral will be held tomorrow. A number of Lima people will attend among them Miss Gusta SHULER.
