    3. Lima Daily News, Aug 11, 1899 The four year old child of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. SMITH, of west Market street, fell and fractured its left forearm Wednesday evening. B.B. FIELD, of north Park avenue, is very low suffering from gangrene of the left foot, the result of an injury to the leg some years ago. It is estimated that ten thousand people were in attendence at the Pioneer picnic yesterday. Miss Katharine, the little daughter of H. TRACEY, of 112 west North street, is very ill with cholera infantum. William SIRKS received a telegram last evening informing him of the very serious illness of his brother, George SIRKS, at Belle Center. The message stated that if he wished to see his brother alive he should come by first train, and he left on the C. & E. at 9 p.m.
