JACOBS entertained at a 6 o'clock dinner Wednesday evening the following persons: Mr. Milton HARPSTER and daughter, Beatrice from Kokomo, Ind.; A.T. HARPSTER, from West Newton; Russell HARPSTER, from Delphos, and Mr. Oved RILEY and lady friend. Mr. Levi DOWNHOUR, of Bremen, O., was the guest of Mr. L.E. RUMBAUGH and family a few days this week. Mr. and Mrs. Pete DILLMAN have moved to Delphos. Master Fred BLODGETT was the guest of his sister, Mrs. Fred RENTZ, of Lima, a few days this week. Many of the farmers around here attended S.E. HARPSTER's sale, Wednesday, Mr. HARPSTER will move to Michigan to make it his future home. Mr. and Mrs. L.E. RUMBAUGH and son Oscar were the guests of Mrs. RUMBAUGH's mother, Mrs. Mary E NUNGESTER, of Shawnee township, Sunday. Miss Mary NEELY entertained at supper Tuesday evening Miss Clara GREDING, of Lima. New Hampshire Miss Mary MAHAN of Ada, who has been visiting with her brother, Howard and family for several days, returned home Saturday. H.O. HUBER and family spent Saturday evening and Sunday with friends here. Bob EWING was in Illinois on a hunting trip, returning Saturday. Walter HARROD attended a Duroc hog sale in Illinois the past week and reports the average sales as over $300. Dan KERWIN returned from his trip to St. Louis Saturday. Mr. HENSEL of Anna, Oh., secretary of the Shelby County Mutual Insurance Co., was in town Wednesday. John DOWNING of Roundhead, was in town Saturday.
