Is there an Index for birth records in Shelby Co?? I'm looking for a male Sloan....probably named "Buck" or "Frank". Born Mar 16, 1907...or maybe 1908 Said he was born in Shelby Co in all the records I find on him, But doesn't say which State. We know He lived in KY after 1931....but He may have come from OHIO, as His brother moved there and lived there until he died, in LIMA, OH. Does any one know which county LIMA is in? Terri - I have the Birth Record book for 1904-1908. The only listing I see is for a Marion C., male, white ch/o R. E. and Nellie (Harmony) Sloan, b Hardin, Nov. 30, 1906 or also listed in another entry as Marion Clinton, b Nov. 30, 1905 in Turtle Creek Twp., ch/o R. Terri, I looked in my road atlas, and it looks like Lima, Oh is in Allen Co. There are quite a few Shelby Counties in the US. If you run a google search for just "Shelby County" they should all come up.
