Several years ago I requested some research from the Shelby Co. Ohio Genealogical Society in regards to Lefever families in Salem Twp., Shelby Co. Part of the material SCGS sent to me included a number of Quadrennial census - first for Shelby Co. and then they sent just the later dated ones for just Salem Twp. where my people were. I understood from the SCGS that Shelby Co. was one of the few Ohio counties that had these records survive relatively intact. Morris LeFever
