I have made several, framed them, and gave them as gifts. It was a relatively inexpensive program, I think I paid about $30. It also came with a bonus program called Memories on TV which allows you take your photos (or scrapbook pages you make with Scrapbook Factory Delux) and make a slide show with different neat transitional affects when it goes from picture to picture and set the slide show to music. I made a wedding slideshow with this and used the actual music from the wedding. Memories on TV has been upgraded and is now called Picture to TV. Because I liked Memories on TV so much, when I found there was an upgrade called Picture to TV, I went to the website and bought the upgrade mainly because with the upgrade there were even neater transitional affects and it gave you the capability to actually zoom in on different areas photos and pan from area to area of the photo. For example, with a picture of the wedding party I zoomed in on the the person on the far left and then slowly panned from person to person. Once you have set up your photos, music and transitional affects, you can then burn the "production" to a CD which can be played in a computer OR on most DVD players hooked up to your television. I am now in the process of taking a large photo collection, setting the photos up on scrapbook pages with Scrapbook Factory Delux (with text captions added to identify the individuals in the photos), taking the scrapbook pages and putting them into a slide show with Picture to TV, setting the slide show to music and then burning CD's to give to other family members, especially those who have let me borrow and scan their photos. A BONUS with Picture to TV is you can actually save copies of the photos themselves separate from the slide show when you burn the CD and then the photos themselves can be accessed from the CD so a person could pull them into their own photo programs for printing or use in their own documents. >I would like to have several professional-looking colorful charts made up >to > give as gifts to various family members of the genealogical information I > have compiled.
