Anyway, I do understand that there doesn't seem to be an obvious link to the Linders and Wagners that we have in our family lines. Here is what I have on the Linder family that I have in my database: George Linder born abt 1805 married Margaret Holtz born abt 22 April 1813 in Germany and died 17 Dec 1893 in Fryburg, Auglaize county, Ohio. children (That I know of:) 1. Mary Linder born 3 Dec 1841 Auglaize county died 12 Sept 1919. She married George Wagner 15 Oct 1861. George Wagner was born 20 June 1838 in Fryburg and died 10 Sept 1918. He is a son of Mathias Wagner and Marie Elizabeth Romons. 2. William Linder was born 10 Feb 1845 in Auglaize county. 3. Louisa Linder was born 18 Oct 1847 in Auglaize county. 4.Michael Linder was born 19 Jan 1851 in Auglaize county and died 3 April 1888. Mathias Wagner (Sr) was born 14 June 1798 in Stundwiller, France and died 7 Oct 1841 in Auglaize county, Ohio. He married Marie Elizabeth Romons 3 Nov 1817. She was born 3 Nov 1795 in Stundwiller France and died 18 Jan 1868. Marie's parents were Hendrick Romons or Rommens and Anne Marie Amann I do not have the surname of Cypher or Holtz in my database. Would you happen to know which of the Wagners that your Wagners descended from? Are any of the Linders listed above familiar to you?
